Hello Texas Supporters!

In these uncertain times, end-of-life planning has received renewed attention. The uncertainty created by the coronavirus pandemic has prompted people from coast to coast to revisit their end-of-life planning documents and have new discussions with friends and family about what they want their end-of-life journeys to look like.

At Compassion & Choices, we’re here to help. Please join us on September 29 at 12 p.m. CT for a discussion with me, Southwest Regional Campaign & Outreach Manager Sam DeWitt, and Compassion & Choices CEO Kim Callinan. From getting your end-of-life planning documents in order, to new tools on our website, we’ll be discussing everything about end of life, and what you can do right now to help the movement to expand and protect end-of-life care options in the coming years.

Even though we are legitimately a few years away from being able to pass medical aid-in-dying legislation for terminally ill Texans, there is a lot we can do to improve end-of-life planning and ease the transition into implementation once the law is authorized in the state. And we need your help.
